College: School Spirit

I am lucky enough to attend a college with an enormous amout of school spirit. Many people thought my school was spirited because of our strong football team. Over the past couple weeks the nation was able to see our school spirit was more then just athletics, but was because our large community of students, faculty, staff and alumni stood together and made Virginia Tech special.



Before my freshman year I never wore orange and maroon together, but now I see them as matching colors. When I wear my Virginia Tech apparel I feel strong and proud to be apart of an organization. No matter what college or high school you attend, always wear your school colors proudly, because you never know when something tragic will happen and try to tear your community apart.
